A day in the life...

I love Christmas time!

Last year was mine and Eric's first Christmas together. We bought a white tree, and turquoise and silver

ornaments. We bought the girls Red stockings, and the boys Green ones.

We wanted to do it big, and ended spending so much on the kids that we didn't get ourselves anything big.

This year it was so nice to pull out the Christmas box with everything in it already and be able to add to it.

We used the same tree and added some ornaments and a new topper and tree skirt.

The kids absolutely love to decorate the tree. They wore themselves out!

Everyone got into their pajamas and waited for Eric to get the tree out as I put the hooks back on the ornaments.

We also got to decorate our home with my Nan's Santas this year. She had so many. My mantle is full of them, and there are more on my book shelf. I also have her hand carved and painted Santa cane right next to my fireplace with a door hanger that she would hang every year.

We actually were able to buy all of the kids in my family a Christmas present this year. Some pretty neat gifts!

And my mom's gift is by far my favorite!! But I can't tell right now. =)

We plan to go see the Christmas lights in the Fayetteville Square tonight or tomorrow. I heard they are breath taking! You should check them out!
